He joined the church a couple of years after I did. For the longest time, we were in the exact same unit, doing nothing but serving the Lord and strictly minding our business.
We were just two devout brethren exchanging greetings and facing our front.
About a year and a half into our casual “Happy Sunday” pleasantries, this brother walked up to me and confidently announced that he would be "checking up on me" from now on.
My immediate thought? Checking up on me for what, ke? I was absolutely not trying to get mixed up in that kind of situation.
Well, (spoiler alert!)
The "checking up" turned into him actually asking me out. I immediately took the matter straight to God in prayer and consulted my mentors.
Apparently, Heaven was highly in favor of his checking up! The rest is history.
Here we are today, stepping into our Rehoboth, the beautiful place where God has made room for us.
To my man, the very one God Himself handpicked for me, I am endlessly grateful for ordered steps, prepared places, and your persistence.

After navigating through different cities here in the UK, unaware it was only a journey towards locating the bone of my bones...
Finally, I found you while you were faithfully serving in his vineyard, the master had reserved this treasure on his field a precious gem only to be found in his time..
It was time to pop the question..
I had to muster courage, and armed with a personal conviction and the blessing of those ahead of us..
My response came weeks after, the day that left me dumbfounded yet elated in my own way..
It's been bliss ever since and looking forward to a lifetime of even more
Now I know, all those years seeking, it was because, he reserves his best!
